Can triund trek be done in a day?

At normal pace you will be at Triund by maximum 12–12:30pm. There you can spend your good time for about 2–3hrs. But make sure you start your trek back to Galu Devi by 3–3:30pm. This way you can easily complete the Triund trek in one day .

Day 01 :

Bus from Delhi to Bir.

Bus from Delhi to Bir at 1930 hrs to Bir. Overnight Journey in bus.

Day 02 :

Arrive Bir, Paragliding session and Overnight stay in Camp Oak View, Bir.

Arrive Bir, Transfer to Camp Oak View, Early check in subject to availability or use lounge area for freshen up. Later drive to Billing for paragliding session. paragliding session, Land at Bir and free to explore Bir at your own – Tibetan colony area and later transfer to Camp Oak View.

Dinner around Bonfire and Overnight stay at Camp Oak View Bir.

Day 03 :

Drive Bir to Macleodganj (70 km / 2 hrs)

Arrive Macleodganj and start trek. Trek to Triund with packed lunch, Triund trek passes through thick forests of deodar, rhododendron and oak. You will find many food joints on the way. Reach Triund and spend some time at Triund ridge, later trek to Camp which is near to Triund.

Dinner and overnight stay in dome tents.

Day 04 :

Trek to Macleodganj (9 km./3-4 hrs).

Morning post breakfast, we start our trek for the day with a 5 km. downhill walk along a ridge with fantastic views of the Dhauladhar range on our right and Dharamsala town and Kangra valley below, pass by Leta, a partially inhabited shepherd settlement. Spend some time at waterfall and later hike to Bhagsu, Keep Luggage at Office and free to explore Bir Tibetan colony area and Dalai Lama Temple later board volvo bus from macleodganj to Delhi and Departure.
