Overview

To visit Zanskar from Manali via Manali – Leh road and further from Leh – Kargil – Padum almost more than 600 km. Manali – Leh highway crosses from four high mountain passes and remains closed for seven months in winter.
Now there is a new road opened that connects Manali – Padum via Shinkun La also known as Shingo La. After the Atal Rohtang tunnel, the Border road organization will construct a Shinkun La tunnel to make Manali – Padum – Leh all-weather road.

Day 1 :

Manali - Solang Valley - Atal Tunnel - Sissu - Keylong - Jispa ( 92 kms / 2-3 hrs)

Today on first day we will drive from Manali to Jispa. Drive Manali to Soalng Valley. After Solang Valley, you will pass through Atal Tunnel. The tunnel is a marvel of engineering and is an attraction in itself. It connects Manali to Lahaul-Spiti valley and reduces travel time significantly. Enjoy the scenic views around. After Atal Tunnel, you will reach Sissu. Sissu is located on the banks of the Chandra River, and you can spend some times at Sissu. Reach Jispa in the evening via Tandi and Keylong. Check in to your hotel/camp in Jispa.

Day 2 :

Jispa - Shinku la - Gombo Ranjgon - Kurgiakh - Purne ( 88 kms / 3-4 hrs)

After Breafast, drive to Purne from Jispa, The route includes Shinkun La (5090 m), Gonborangjum (4330 m), Kurgiakh (4150 m), and Tangze (4000 m). Overnight at purne homestay / camp.

Day 3 :

Jispa - Shinku la - Gombo Ranjgon - Kurgiakh - Purne ( 88 kms / 3-4 hrs)

Today after breafast you can go to phugtal monastery trek, The trek is seven kilometers from purne bridge and take 2 hrs to reach the monastery after this trek drive to Padum, Overnight in Hotel

Day 4 :

Padum Sight-seeing

Today go for Padum sighseeing place like Zangla Palace & Village, Kharsha monastery, Stongday, and Sheela waterfall etc, back to hotel and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 5 :

Padum - Pensila - Padum ( 120 kms / 3-4 hrs)

Today we will drive to Pensila Pass and enroute we will visit saini lake & village, Lang tso lake and drang drung glaciaer and back to Padum overnight in hotel.

Day 6 :

Padum to Gombo rangan ( 67 kms / 3-4 hrs)

Today drive to Gombo rangan from Padum. it will take 3-4 hrs to reach there. check into the tent, rest time at lesuire at campsite. overnight stay in camp

Day 7 :

Gombo rangan - Manali ( 149 kms / 4-5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Manali. Tour will end here with sweet memories forever.
